Weekly Wine Review - Italian Rosé - 2014 Albino Armani Schiava Vallagarina IGT

On my last visit to Total Wine and More to stock up, as I was grabbing a bottle (or two) of Charles Smith Rosé, one of the Total Wine staff recommended this Italian Rosé.  Over 110 degrees here in Arizona, so a tasty chilled Rosé is a wonderful thing... so let's give it a try.
Wine: 2014 Albino Armani Schiava Vallagarina IGT
Region: Trentino, Italy
Grape Varieties: Schiava

Obtained from: Purchased at Total Wine & More
Price: $13
Wino4Life Category: Everyday Wine

Aeration before tasting: Just a swirl or two, no special aeration.
Cork Condition: Natural cork - no defects or issues.

Appearance: Clear with a pale pink color.
Aroma: Fresh strawberries plus a little floral hint.
Taste: Light bodied, crisp and clean, - nice fruit flavor and a pleasant but brief finish.

The Grade: I give this one a B. A solid, easy drinking wine. I prefer my Rosé wine a bit fuller bodied, but for a simple refresher on a hot day - this is a great little wine for $13.
